Western Microbiology & Immunology Students Association

 

Western’s Microbiology and Immunology Student Association (MISA)  is a student-run club for people enrolled or enthusiastic about the Microbiology and Immunology field.  Our association provides great opportunities for students to create meaningful relationships, learn valuable information and make a difference in the community.

 

As a MISA member, you will be given a chance to pick the brains of some of the great faculty members in the Microbiology & Immunology department and learn about potential research opportunities. We will also provide a number of valuable academic resources that will cater specifically to courses in the module. 

 

MISA is also committed to creating meaningful change through our fundraising events.  MISA actively takes part in initiatives around the community such as this year's "Light the Night Walk" from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where we are planning to raise over $5000!

 

Whether you're a first year who is slightly interested in Microimm or if you're a senior year looking for some course help, MISA is the club for you!  MISA provides an inclusive environment for like-minded individuals to come together and create lasting friendships.
